PROSPECTING FOR GOOD OPERATORS

Here are some tips to help you find new operators and recruit the best talent:

  1. Keep your prospect pipeline full – keeping tabs on operators you may want to hire means you’re always prepared in the event of an unexpected opening in your company.

  2. Recruit through your own employees – ask your employees if they know anyone they would recommend for your company.

  3. Network with your customers and peers – you never know who might know a great candidate.

  4. Recruit students for part time work – they may be great administrators or turn into your next operator.

  5. Look outside the towing industry – first responders, ex-military or transportation professionals may be looking for a career change or supplemental work and will often have transferable skills.
