Capacitors

Capacitors are used to store energy that becomes available rapidly, acting as a buffer between the energy source and the battery bank.

This is done to better control the charge the batteries are getting, as well as the heat generated in the process.

This extends battery life and improves safety. Current capacitors can hold energy for up to 10 minutes.
