Hooks: Other Hooks
CHAIN GRADE
Remember these factors to consider when selecting chain:
- SIZE & GRADE
- Is it Quenched & Tempered (heat treating process)
- Grade 7 & Lower Grades are not recommended for OVERHEAD LIFTING.
- Rigging will only be as strong as the weakest link or lowest grade in the assembly.
LOK-A-LOY
- The alloy LOC-A-LOY (also known as Hammer-Loc) is an acceptable metod of joining chain components together; such as J-Hooks, R-Hooks, Grab Hooks or other sections of chain.
