TOW SLING

Stored on the deck of the back of the truck. It is attached to the tailboard by hinges, which allow it to fold.

TELESCOPING BARS

These can be adjusted to move the sling further or closer to the tailboard.

TOW BAR

Allows the sling to pivot from left to right.

SLING STRAPS

This is what the casualty comes in contact with.

SPREADER BAR

Connected to the top of the sling straps. This is also connected to the boom by wire rope.

WIRE ROPE

Lifts the tow sling and spreader bar.
