Section 2: Snatchblocks, Resistance, & Loading

During this section, we will be discussing the rigging a heavy-duty operator will choose to recover casualties. It’s very important to understand that each piece of rigging has a designed purpose and a Working Load Limit (W.L.L.). An informed operator will always access the resistance to overcome and apply the appropriately sized and graded rigging to affect the recovery.
