CHAIN GRADE

Remember these factors to consider when selecting chain:

SIZE & GRADE

Is it Quenched & Tempered (heat treating process)

Grade 7 & Lower Grades are not recommended for OVERHEAD LIFTING.

Rigging will only be as strong as the weakest link or lowest grade in the assembly.

LOC-A-LOY

The alloy LOC-A-LOY (also known as Hammer-Loc) is an acceptable metod of joining chain components together; such as J-Hooks, R-Hooks, Grab Hooks or other sections of chain.
