UPRIGHTING WITH ONE TRUCK
Grab the straight truck by the front axle to create a pull-down. A high-line will be attached to the back of the straight truck.
REMEMBER
the strongest part of the box is the corners.
While rigging keep in mind that you want to achieve more ‘pick than pull’. The rear end of the straight truck should slide forward before it stands up.
The control vehicle should be placed at a 45 degree angle from the front of the straight truck. The brakes of the control vehicle can be used if needed to help the straight truck from sliding forward before it find the ‘sweet spot’ to lift up.
Place board at a ‘V’ angle at the dual wheel to help pinch the wheel to the ground when the casualty begins to stand up.
LOCKING THE BRAKES
Wrap a chain around the dual wheels (hooked to it self). The chain comes up across the rubber tread of the tire and in between the spring. This will then go to the frame rail, looped back down and attach to a binder.
This process locks the bottom wheel creating damage resistance. It will be harder for the casualty to slide forward.
