WAYS TO KEEP GOOD OPERATORS

  • Motivate your employees as often as possible
    • Review major jobs and give props where they are due during weekly/monthly meetings
  • Encourage training and certification
    • Pay for external training, even if it isn’t directly related to towing
      • Management, mechanic or other skilled training
  • Have regular meetings
    • Have a weekly / monthly meeting and outline what’s going well, what could be better and ask for feedback from staff
  • Insist on quality
    • Quality of service, image, attitude, sales
  • Set monthly and yearly goals
    • Total number of jobs, money earned, etc.
