I forgot my password?
If you have forgotten your password please click the Sign In button in the top right hand corner of the TowTruckDriverTraining.ca home page. Click on the Lost Your Password link. Enter your username or email address. Once this info has been submitted a link to create a new password will be sent via email.
How do I access my online training course?
Login in to TowTruckDriverTraining.ca. Click on “Dasboard” to access your courses from your Tow Truck Driver Training Dashboard.
Does my training content expire or will I lose access to it?
You will always have access to purchased courses. Although, the course does expire after 3 years.

What is the tuition price for the MTO approved Tow Truck Driver Training course?
The tuition price for the course is $699 + tax. This price includes the eLearning component (valued at $349), the 6 hour hands-on in-yard training (valued at $349), and the final training evaluation.
The Ontario-approved training course we offer is a hybrid training course. This course includes three training components. The first training component is the eLearning training component. This will take approximately 8-10 hours to complete. Drivers can stop and start their training and the system will remember their progress. The second training component is the in-yard training. The third and final training component will be the online training evaluation.
What do I get if a take the Online Training Course?
Once you complete any of our online training tutorials you will receive a certificate of completion. This can be viewed and printed from a student learning center.
How many students can attend an in-yard training event?
We are limited to 16 students for each in-yard training event. Once an in-yard training event reaches 16 students registered it will be sold out and registration will be unavailable.
Why can't I see any in-yard training events on your website?
In-yard events are only displayed to drivers who have completed the eLearning component of the training. Once a driver creates a training account, purchases the course and completes the eLearning component they will have access to the available dates and locations for the in-yard training.

How does the MTO-approved Ontario Tow Truck Driver Training course work?
Step 1: Drivers will need to set up a training account at www.towtruckdrivertraining.ca. Drivers will be required to provide their driver’s license number and upload a photo of their driver’s license. Training accounts will need to be under the driver’s name and the name on the driver’s license that is uploaded will need to match the name on the account.
Step 2: Drivers will need to purchase the Ontario Tow Truck Driver Training course. The tuition price for the course is $849 + tax. Once the purchase has been made driver will have immediate access to the eLearning portion of the course.
Step 3: The driver will be required to work through all 9 sections of the eLearning component of the training course. Drivers will be able to stop and start the eLearning. The system will save their course progress. Click here to see an overview of the sections that will be covered.
Step 4: Once the eLearning component has been completed drivers are ready to schedule their 6-hour in-yard training. In-yard training registration is only available to drivers who have completed the eLearning component. Section 9 of the eLearning course will give access to the current dates and locations of available in-yard training. There is no additional cost for the in-yard training. In-yard training is included in the tuition price.
Step 5: After registering for in-yard training driver will attend their selected date and location. They will be with a TTDT.ca training that will be providing the in-yard training. To see what modules will be covered click here. The class is rain or shine and operators are required to bring work gloves and work boots. No walk in are permitted and student that are late will not be allowed entry.
Step 6: Once the in-yard has been completed student will have access to their online training evaluation. This evaluation is done online and students will have 2 hours to complete. If students don’t pass there is no additional fee to re-test. The passing grade for the training evaluation is 75%.
Step 7: Once the training evaluation is completed drivers will earn a certificate. We will email a copy to the driver. TTDT.ca will upload your certificate to the MTO website on the next business day after completion.
Is the class online or hands-on?
The Driver Training course that has been approved by the MTO is a hybrid training course. Each driver will complete the first section of their training course. This section is an eLearning section. Once that is complete the will schedule a location for their in-hard hands-on training. This 6 hour in-yard training will be completed with a WreckMaster Instructor. Once an operator completes the 6 hour in-yard training operators will be able to take the final training evaluation on-line. Once the evaluation is passed operators will earn their certificate.
Where are the In-Yard classes located?
We are always adding new dates and locations for in-yard training. Operators who have completed the eLearning portion of the training will have access to the list of available dates and locations. They can select a date and location and secure their spot.

Are the other provinces going to require mandatory Tow Truck Training?
As of now, the requirement for a mandatory tow truck training course is primarily focused on specific provinces, such as Ontario.
